BCS Solutions (Building Control Solutions Ltd), in collaboration with Regin, has undertaken the task of installing an advanced building automation system in this 14-floor office building. The project involves installing a new main plant, including chillers, pumps, and cooling towers, with all building management functions included.
One of the project's main goals is to achieve a high NABERS (National Australian Built Environment Rating System) rating, a benchmark for sustainability performance in buildings. This initiative aims to improve efficiency across various domains, including energy, water, waste, and indoor environmental quality. Simultaneously, creating a productive indoor climate is crucial, ensuring optimal conditions for employee well-being, creativity, and efficiency.
After successfully implementing these systems, the goal is for the office building to serve as a model for future development in the region.
Technical Solution
The system is built on freely programmable EXOcompact Ardo DDC units from Regin, together with temperature sensors, flow switches, and pressure transmitters. All components are integrated into the Arrigo building management system, providing comprehensive oversight and management capabilities.
