Intelligent automation at Gaziantep Integrated Health Campus in Türkiye

Gaziantep is one of Türkiye’s oldest and fastest-growing cities, putting significant strain on its healthcare services. A few years ago, the Turkish Ministry of Health decided to construct a new hospital in southeast Türkiye. Regin Türkiye, in collaboration with Rönesans Construction, has been a key partner in this project from the outset, providing complete solutions for building automation.

The Gaziantep Integrated Health Campus is said to be the country’s fifth-largest investment in hospital construction and project costs. The campus houses specialized departments across a wide range of medical fields, including general medicine, cardiovascular care, mental health services, oncology, and physiotherapy. To ensure a controlled indoor climate throughout the facility, Regin is responsible for delivering a comprehensive solution for intelligent building automation, including both hardware and building management systems.

The fully integrated solution will ensure a healthy indoor climate across the 600,000-square-meter hospital with an 1,875-bed capacity. By enabling precise management of pressure levels and temperatures, the system will prevent contamination and create an optimal environment for patients and medical staff. Additionally, the technology will support the hospital’s capacity to accommodate multiple medical disciplines.

Technical solution
The project includes the installation of a large volume of freely programmable EXOcompact and EXOclever controllers, over 5,000 Regio room controllers, as well as various sensors, transmitters, pressure switches, and other field devices. All components are integrated into Regin’s building management system Arrigo, providing complete control of the facility.

Short facts

Type of solution: Freely programmable EXOcompact controllers, Regio room controllers, sensors, transmitters, pressure switches, and other field devices. All connected to Regin's building management system Arrigo.
